Second Look (worthasecondlook.online) is run by PolTech Management, Kilmarnock, Scotland. By creating an account you agree to these terms. Our privacy notice explains how we use your data.
Each week we may offer you one match, chosen by our system from both of your answers. We can’t promise a match every week. You can pause matching at any time. Everyone does a photo check, and anyone who looks under 25 an ID check, before they can be matched.
On your profile, in messages, or when you meet up, you must not:
Anyone can report a match with the Report button, on their profile or in the chat. A person reads every report. Depending on what happened, we may dismiss it, pause the account while we look into it, or close (ban) the account. Some reports, such as feeling unsafe or someone possibly being under 18, pause the reported account straight away. Our system also looks for signs of scams in messages, but a person always makes the decision.
We remove anything illegal as soon as we know about it, and we report crimes to the police where the law requires it, or where someone may be at risk of serious harm.
If we close your account, you can’t sign up again. To keep this from happening, we keep a scrambled copy of the email and the face “fingerprints” of anyone we ban.
If you think we got something wrong (a report, a pause, a ban, a photo that wasn’t accepted, or a check), email [email protected] with what happened. A different staff member from the one who decided will look at it, and we’ll reply within 14 days. You can also complain to Ofcom about how we keep people safe, or to the Information Commissioner’s Office about your data.
We check that members are real and over 18, but we can’t check everyone’s background, and we aren’t responsible for what members do when they meet. Please use your own judgement.
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. Core Second Look is free. We may change these terms, and will tell you by email before any big change.
The price and what you get are shown before you pay. Payments are taken by Stripe and show on your statement as POLTECH MANAGEMENT.
Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and you can also bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
